WE HAVE The Best Youth DIRECTOR!!!!

Hey Guys, did you hear our Teen Director is the absolute best!. We are going to have a blast.  He is really cool and has great ideas for studies and activities. Be sure to tell all your friends.  Join us for a great time

Grand Master Tony Skinner is a member of our congregation, and periodically hosts self defense classes for our youth, at his studio.

Tony also does lessons for our youth periodically, using his martial arts skills to demonstrate characteristics of a warrior for christ.  The kids love these special demonstrations. 

Our Teens Always Have A Blast At Summer Camp. They get to spend time with old friends and make new ones.  There is always an activity that is fun and then there is the quiet times learning about Jesus and how they can have a personal relationship with him.  Summer camp is often where God first speaks to their hearts and plants seeds that often change their lives forever.

TEEN BOWLING NIGHT

 Bowling is always a fun time. The kids learn patience, and how to cheer each other on.  We need to find activities for our teens that are wholesom fun.  If we do not provide opportunities for them to connect to other teens in a Christian atmosphere, the world has plenty of opportunites to offer them that will not have good results.  Pray for our teens and pray that our leaders will continue to serve in a ministry that is essential for every church.  Perhaps children's ministries are the most important.  Our kids need someone to look up to and someone they can feel comfortable to share their deepest struggles with.  We are so proud of our leaders and thank them for thier service.

SALVATION ARMY PROJECT

We are very proud of our Teen Class!  They were able to fill the bucket to the top during their shift as Sams Club. Our kids have big hearts and are eager to serve others.  Dave North our Youth Director is teaching them that service to those around us is very important to their Christian walk.  It is also a testimony to those that we serve that GOD IS GOOD ALL

LAZER TAG SUNDAY

Our Teen class have a blast playing Lazer Tag. We heard a rumor that a lot of parents enjoy it as much as the teens. What a great way to have fun and spend time with your kids.

TEENTOPICS CORNER

CALVARY BAPTIST YOUTH GROUP

We are so proud of our teens and how they strive to serve God in our church and in the community. This month we are featuring an article by Kiley Griffith. Kiley is our teen editor for the Calvary Baptist Church Newsletter.  She serves in our church in many ways. Kiley is a member of the choir, and sings solos and duets with her father. She also uses her talents to play piano for our congregation on Sunday nights, and also plays specials for oferetory. Kiley is a teen helper in our Awana clubs and also a member of our hospitality volunteer team on Sunday mornings.
